Successful graduates of the Quadrant "Certificate Of Screening Audiometry" program will receive a distinctive certificate and full Victorian WorkCover and industry recognition.
The certificate course is a 24 hour program, and is usually structured to be run on a full time basis over 3 consecutive days or 5 evenings. However, the program is very flexible, and can be delivered in a number of other formats, including on site at your premises, evening, and one day per week. The final program structure can be tailored to best suit yours and your organisations requirements (subject to number of participants).
After completion of the required number of class hours and practical projects, a written assessment is undertaken.
Prior to the written assessment, a full revision program is provided to ensure that all participants have the required knowledge to enable them to complete the examination successfully.
After successful completion of the assessment, each participant will receive a "Certificate Of Screening Audiometry". A copy of this certificate can then be forwarded to the Victorian WorkCover Authority, and the applicant will then be issued with a nationally recognized approval number. * Note: Performing an industrial screening audiogram without an approval number is a direct breach of the Victorian regulations!
